MY MISSION STATEMENT
My passion has always and forever will be the welfare of animals.
My Life
I was always surrounded by pets as I was growing up and they were my confidants. We had a german shepherd, a dalmation, and a few mixed large breeds. My dogs were always there to welcome me home after school. On our small farm, we raised chickens, goats, pigs and ducks. In my teenage years, I became the proud owner of a beautiful Quarter horse, named Danny Boy, who gave me many precious years and a deep understanding of the animal world. Throughout these years, I learned how to communicate with animals.
In later years, I was able to transfer this knowledge to my own Standard Breds that I groomed before each race. During this time, I rescued two chocolate point Siamese kittens who were to be put down by their owner because they had incurred a genetic misfortune. They both gave me fifteen beautiful years of joy before they transited to the next world.
Today I have a mischievous Shiba Inu who has the run of the house. His Japanese name means "Blessed" in English and he truly is a blessing in many ways.
My deep love for animals in general and my present pet companion have helped me find my calling in life.
Aromatherapy
I have practiced Aromatherapy for over 35 years mixing my own oils and fragrances. Today, I use only essential oils. Through my love and knowledge of Aromatherapy, I enhance the well-being of my canine friends with high quality Young Living Essential Oils. You may order them directly from my website:

Not being satisfied with just one modality, I have added many other services to include:
REIKI
I am a Reiki Master/Teacher in the Usui System of Natural Healing and have undertaken additional study hours for the application of Reiki for animals.
Canine massage
I am currently studying two schools of method. Canine massage unfortunately is a gray area in practice as massage is a regulated modality for humans, while there are no regulations that prohibit massage for animals. However, some states require that animal massage be provided by a vet, or that the human practioner is licensed for human massage first. A good place to find out each state's regulations is the International Association for Animal Massage and Bodywork .

Healing Touch for Animals(R)-Komitor Healing Method healingtouchforanimals.com
"Healing Touch for Animals® (HTA) is a bio-field energy-medicine modality combining philosophies, techniques and applications to promote energy balance and healing of our animals...Healing Touch for Animals® / Komitor Healing Method, Inc. (HTA/KHM) uses bio-field therapies – recognized by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) – to integrate, balance and clear the energy body. It works by releasing endorphins to establish a deeper relaxation and state of being, allowing the body to function at a greater level. By allowing muscles to relax, circulation is increased, sending more oxygen, nutrients, and hormones into the body to support healing." (http://healingtouchforanimals.com/whatishta.htm)
I am a Healing Touch for Animals® practioner.
Private, one-on-one, canine training
In addition to using the modalities above, I do encourage good canine citizenship and will work together with both the owner and the canine on behavioral problems so both can live harmoniously together.
I have been truly blest by my animal friends. Today, I am traveling on a journey that gives me great pleasure and satisfaction. As I have learned much from my animal friends much earlier in my life, it is now my turn to give back to the animal world that has helped me to evolve as a human being.
Come join me on my adventure!
